Grand Hotel Tremezzo

The former summer playground for Lombard Aristocrats, Grand Hotel Tremezzo now welcomes guests to stay in its historic rooms, and float in its pool, which floats on the lake. Inside the hotel, the 90 rooms and suites are decorated in Liberty style. Two more pools dot the grounds, one on a garden terrace, and one in the space-age looking T Spa, where you can enjoy a myriad of body treatments. With two restaurants, three bars, and a partnership with the world famous Italian chef Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi, Grand Hotel Tremezzo offers unforgettable dining experiences that will have you coming back for more. Pizza in the garden comes highly recommended! If you want to venture out, you can take a short walk or ride to the port to catch a ferry to Bellagio, Varenna or Menaggio. The hotel can also arrange a trip on one of their speedboats around the lake.

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

Set in extensive lakefront grounds two minutes’ walk from the main piazza of Bellagio. Old-style Lake Como with intricately frescoed ceilings, gold mirrors, ornate columns, Oriental carpets, gilded chairs, massive chandeliers, and a sweeping marble staircase. The rooms and suites, many of which are lake view, have fine percale sheets, soft down pillows, and large towels. The park-like grounds, enhanced by colorful beds of well-tended flowers, stretch to the very edge of the lake where a large swimming pool holds center stage. There are two more indoor pools opening to the garden. The hotel has two restaurants, one terrace restaurant and the gourmet Mistral. Bellagio is situated upon the extreme cape of the region that divides Lake Como in two. The great Pleistocene glaciations with their imposing flows modeled the extravagant landscape of this section of the lake. Bellagio is perfect for romantic walks through stepped alleyways and English gardens, and dining in exquisite restaurants.

Belvedere Bellagio

A few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bellagio, up on the ridge, the Belvedere looks out in the opposite direction: down to the lakeside village of Pescallo. Owned and run by five generations of women from the same family since 1880, this welcoming hotel offers tranquil seclusion. The gardens, with heated outdoor pool, and Jacuzzi provide a welcome escape in summer. There is also a Spa with a full range of beauty, body and massage treatments using pure organic products and essential oils. Three buildings house 60 rooms and four suites with parquet floors and elegant fabrics. In addition to the main dining room with mountain and lake views, there’s an outdoor panoramic terrace restaurant serving breakfast buffet. The Veranda restaurant serves local delicacies according to the season

accompanied by fine Italian wines.
